After the plaster cast, the pieces are covered with paints to replicate the original colours. Natural clay and pigment end the realism of the piece and give a copy conform to the original piece.

 Taking the bone or fossil from its protection

 Boxing and plaster casting

 Taking down of the shrink-wrap and taking down of the bone

 Support completed

 Bone put on the pedestal for casting or exhibition
